Who are We- CEDC

 The Collinsville Economic Development Corporation- Type 4B was created by the City of Collinsville, Texas City Council on August 12, 2009 as a way to manage specifically identified sales tax revenue (.5%) for projects related to the economic growth of Collinsville and the area community. Projects range from supporting local organizations towards the quality of life for Collinsville Residents to supporting retention, renovation projects and making incentives available for local and downtown businesses.

The Current CEDC Board consists of six volunteer Directors each serving two-year terms with a maximum terms of 3 for a total of 6 years. Consisting of a Chairperson, Vice-Chair and Members, the Board Secretary position is mandated and filled by the City Secretary. Treasury is handled by the City of Collinsville Financial Manager.
