Who is CIDC?

The Collinsville Industrial Development Corporation- Type 4A was created by the City of Collinsville, Texas City Council on August 12, 2009 as a way to manage specifically identified sales tax revenue (.5%) for projects related to the economic growth of Collinsville and the area community. Projects range from infrastructure needs to funding for recreation, job creating businesses and downtown structure renovations.

 The Current CIDC Board consists of five volunteer Directors each serving two-year terms with a maximum terms of 3 for a total of 6 years. Consisting of a Chairperson, Vice-Chair and Members, the Board Secretary position is mandated and filled by the City Secretary. Treasury is handled by the City of Collinsville Financial Manager.
