Vision for Growth
Change is an undeniable reality. A town will either grow or disappear.
As technology changes the way people work, buy product or interact with each other, there has been a population shift since 2020 of people moving away from city residency, businesses moving from office buildings and technology services moving to rural spaces/data centers.
Collinsville, Texas is already seeing an influx of residents and home/land developers, but looking to attract businesses, retailers and investors ready to take Collinsville to a level of being a beacon, not only to the residents but of neighboring and rural communities. Three lakes nearby, a tollway coming within 10 miles, and increased road traffic.
"Tourism" is not just about having museums or recreational spaces (though they are included), but rather about providing opportunities for people inside and outside of our community to visit, utilize local businesses and bring (keep) their money to pay for purchases and services which supports our community and our services with increased tax revenues.
The Collinsville Economic Development teams are working, researching and imaging how our community can be unique and keep our small-town, friendly character. We are looking for dreamers, visionaries and entrepreneurs to respond to ideas, inquiries and set progress into motion. Come join us!
