North Texas / Texoma

Located just south of the Texas/Oklahoma state border, "Texoma" is includes a large majority of the North Central Texas area, from the Red River down to the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. Grayson County, once primarily focused on growing cotton and peanuts, now stands as a prime area for growth, residential, industrial and even internationally. Collinsville, part of the growing Grayson County, is also adjacent to Cooke and Denton counties, to the West and South, making large neighboring communities of Gainesville, Pilot Point and Sherman accessible for employment and commercial opportunities.

Fifty years ago, commute to the DFW area for employment meant driving mostly on State and Farm-to-Market roads through picturesque landscape. However, these days more employees have left residing in larger communities as they are able to work from home, limit their travel time/distance, and utilize better Federal and State Highway project systems, like the North Texas Tollway system. Trading off commuting for the convenience, quiet and community of smaller rural towns, like Collinsville, for their evening and weekend activities and entertainment.
