A Rich History Rooted in Resilience

Originally settled in the 1850s, the area was first known as Springville, later renamed Toadsuck, and finally became Collinsville in honor of L.M. Collins and her sons, who were instrumental in establishing one of the region’s first free schools. The arrival of the Texas and Pacific Railway in 1881 transformed the town into a bustling hub for agriculture and trade. By the early 1900s, Collinsville had grown into a thriving community with churches, schools, and businesses. The town’s commitment to education and civic pride continues today through its excellent public schools and active local organizations.

Whether you're looking to relocate an existing business, invest in growing business opportunities, develop entrepreneurial or small business ideas, or simply enjoy the peace of supporting small-town living, Collinsville offers a unique blend of heritage, hospitality, and opportunity.
